Anything Blue review – when Stephen King and Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining meets David Lynch’s Blue Velvet
After hours spent in front of his computer, nipping, cutting and Photoshopping scenes (probably drinking quite a lot of fine coffee and maybe eating doughnuts, too?), here comes the Blue Shining, half dream, half nightmare, 100% scary and blue.
True Kubrick and Lynch lovers will spot many references to their other favorite movies: iconic scene extracts, a disturbing atmosphere, not to mention a mix of unsettling soundtracks.
Existing fans will rejoice over this 8 minutes mash-up, perfect to start Halloween night. And for those who haven’t watched the movies yet, beware, the videos contains spoilers!
